Overview

This Strategic Information Technology for Africa Masterclass is an intensive 4 day designed for Executives or managers who want to understand quickly what Information Technology (IT) can do for their organisation. It will help inform business decisions with participants learning the art of the possible, the commissioning process, and various elements which need to be considered as part of an effective IT strategy. The curriculum covers the strategic choices which lie before forward-looking organisations – developments in corporate computing; agile techniques; common mistakes and challenges; opportunities and risks; and decision frameworks. The course also includes management information requirements and their application. Finally the programme looks at areas of IT development and how this may impact organisations in the future and relate to IT strategies and planning. The course provides depth, clarity and a broad understanding of the IT landscape to give business the control to ensure that IT is aligned to the strategic business need and not the other way around.
